Battle for Dover

The Battle for Dover was the amphibious landing made by the XIV Legion on the beaches of Dover, in response to the attacks on the Empire that even managed to reach Rome itself. The invasion at first was halted due to the Britons having taken the fortress that blacks ships from entering the beaches.
